COMPANY
History
1954
Mr. Aziz Kardosh built the first tipper on a Mack truck. His workshop was a rented store 6x5 meters with a welding machine and a lathe. He began to produce his own cylinders and hydraulic pumps.
1963
The workshop was moved to a new place owned by Mr. Kardosh, 400 square meters with a separated office, dining room for the workers and a small corner for design and drawings. Soon after moving Mr. Kardosh began the production of trailers.
1968
The production area doubled with the acquisition of the plot besides the factory.
1970
The first bending and cutting machines were purchased to give more capabilities for production.
1986
The senior son Saliba Kardosh joined his father after he graduated from Technion University in Haifa with a degree in "Bachelor in Science" in mechanical engineering. A new product was introduced to the company's customers, the first Draw Bar Trailer (Full Trailer).
1987
The company replaced the type of steel sheets from ST37.2 to the higher strength steel ST52.3.
1990
Acquisition of a cad program: all the design starts to be made on computer.
1995
The junior son Michael Kardosh joined the business after he graduated from the University of Haifa with a degree in Business Administration.
1998
The land where the factory is today was purchased by Mr. Kardosh, the design of the new plant began.
2000
Mr. Kardosh, the father, passed away.
2001
The two sons with the advice of the mother decided to procede building the new plant.
2002
15/01/2002 the contractors began the preparations for the new plant. 01/10/2002 the production began running after all the machines were moved to the new plant.
2005
The first export order was received: a Jordanian customer asking for 10 semitrailers, still operative today.
2006
The company came out with a new product, which was a different concept and used the Swedish steel HARDOX®, giving their customers a much lighter body with much more durability. This innovation was followed by other Truck Body Builders in Israel and today 70% of the tippers in the country are made from HARDOX®.
2010
The company received an order to produce 100 Semitrailers with four axles, with body made from HARDOX®. 25 units were produced in Israel and 75 units in Jordan under the supervision of Saliba Kardosh. In the same year the first trailer chassis made from DOMEX® 700MC was built, giving a lighter chassis.
2014
A new CNC lathe and milling machine were purchased to improve productivity, quality and to give much more possibilities to the company engineers in their designs.
2015
A new tipper for transporting very tough materials in quarries was produced and mounted on KENWORTH C500 trucks, equipped with the highest quality hydraulic system from HAWE, Germany.
2016
Three new CNC machines were added to the production lines.

SOCIAL RESPONSABILITY
Every worker of Kardosh Nazareth donates 10 NIS a month from his salary and the company matches that amount.
